3.5What a downer read, geesh. I went for a walk to clear my head and even my shadow was depressed. Perry is messed up, damaged, twisted, and totally beaten down. When she is at her lowest, she sends out a cry for help and gets The Red Burn. What on earth did Ms. Halle do to this poor thing ? I am still shaking my head..no Perry, No Perry, *ah shite* there she goes. ~sigh~ That was the whole book, one big NO Perry. We get to watch the fall, and it's painful. She loses everything, she hit the bottom of the barrel face planted. The only one that may be able to help is gone, with her shove. I loved the writing, it made me feel everything These characters went through. I just did not like the story. It was too painful to watch unfold. I am glad it is over and I hope for better things in the next book.
