3.4 starsI enjoyed the story and seeing the side characters all back together. The gang is fun, hit and hilarious when mixed together. This one in the series dealt with Jet, her looser of a father ( what a load of trash he was) her terrible insecurities, overwhelming responsibilities and her unending self depreciation. This girl is determined to be undeserving no matter what. I found that so distasteful and the amount over done for my taste. Her father, got in debt and everyone if running around trying to get to him before the bad guys do. Lives are threatened, blood is spilled, and lies are told. It gets crazy intense, and still manages to have some LOL moments. I just didn't like these tow very much. She was so self defaming and he was way too possessiveEddie, what can I say he's hot, he's sexy, he's not afraid to push and he's super interested in Jet. He is close to his family and his Momma is very interested in grandchildren. He pulls out everything for Jet, no holding back only to be knocked back again and again. I found him a bit too caveman with the 'My Woman" stuffI like this authors style very much and enjoy her reads I juts didn't love this one
