Fiona is a Faerie Princess, with the attitude of a rebellious teen. Tobias Walker, the beta of the pack is sexy and over protective of her immediately. The lust between Fiona and Tobias is instant and hotly intense, as is the way magic is generated. They struggle to figure out how to open the portals between their world and save the ones they love from demons and those who called them bent on destroying the world and their loved ones. The humans must not become aware of the troubles. She tries to keep from him, he is mortal and will die all to soon, he dominantly holds her no matter what. I liked this book, but I did not fall in love with it or the characters. I wanted more story, more of the Fae background and issues they faced. It was a bit too much romance for my taste.
