Extreme action scenes made this story a hair pulling adventure. They were so intense I could feel my heart racing and sweat beading on my brow...ARUGH! The problem was that for me the were too much. This girl took beating after beating- she went out/down so many times and woke up to do it again. I was not able ever connect with the characters or the story so I will not continue this series. But I have to give the author a big pat on the back for her graphic intense scenes they were some of the best I've read.
