Daisy is in the final stages of the mourning for her late terrible husband,Craigmore. Finally, she is free to go out in society and enjoy life again. But, her fun is short lived when she finds the hostess being devoured but hideous beasties. Not part of the party plan for sure.Daisy meets Ian, a doctor, werewolf and a born protector. He wants to protect her, save her, perhaps it's his Alpha nature. He also has kind of a bad reputation which is why Daisy's sister is not too happy with their budding relationship. Daisy's been through enough bad men. But daisy is not as naive as she once was and does not play the simple coy girl with Ian. The romance was slow and tasty.Werewolves in London. Yes, I had to say it. These werewolves are a bit different and have a fresh lore to go with them. One of them is quite nasty and has a taste for the wrong kind of food. I enjoyed this book even more than the first. The pacing was much better and the characters held more interest for me. I loved the werewolves.I can't wait to read the next in the series.
