Why not 5 stars ? Because it was damaging to my soul to watch her (Eden) pain and even his (Javier) as it was. Another not so happy smiley book from the genius of writing tortured souls Ms. Halle. She likes to take a handsome man and give him a sharp dark edge with a huge dose of sexual tension and body slam him into some girls life. In this case the girl is a semi naive, scared inside and out, con artist want to be, virgin, with a heart hidden under her shadows. When to two meet, the heat and desire flares, it's so fast and furious it borders on obsession. All this intense desire, for revenge, for lust, for love and for hate had me pulling an all-nighter.
