Reading progress update: I've read 290 out of 432 pages.
There was one chapter where they were all talking at and about each other that just stumped me. I re-read it and still didn't get what it was really getting at. I like the book but I can tell it is a world builder for the rest of the series, there are too many holes. She did the same with her other series and that one grew to be in my top 10 series. Her women are always stronger than people expect which I love. Her men : Bless their hearts: are mostly deceitful which is happening here
