Reading progress update: I've read 12%.
This chick is totally bat guano crazy. I don't get the whole ventriloquist doll bit, it's taking me out of the story. Luckily it is getting less and less or I would have quit. Who the heck wants to listen to her conversing with her dolls, alone, like they are real ? This is a romance not a horror novel, right ?
