Reading progress update: I've read 146 out of 383 pages.
I like the world building here. This magical realm vs. our realm is a good mix. The little sprinkle of science is a nice touch too. The monsters, made by man nd magic are so wicked, no tow the same but all deadly. The only issue I have is the quickness of her abilities but the rest of the story is making all that go away.
